Today, while minding my own business, out of the blue I receive the following IM (on AIM).

ETA part deux: Apparently, all parties involved have been hatted. Why, I have no idea. It was certainly interesting! If you check the comments below, you can see fleathemagician did a little more digging than I did and came up with themissinghat. Bizarre. Very bizarre. Thanks, fleathemagician!

So I was right about the lights in that it was the GFCI that was tripped. Unfortunately, that ground fault circuit interrupter is located behind the refrigerator in the garage, which means the fridge is on that GFCI and hasn't been working since last Tuesday. The contents of the fridge itself (extra beverages) are fine, but the meat in the freezer has to go (and there was a LOT of meat in the freezer). I guess the good thing about this is I have lots of room for our next Dream Dinners session now.

... is quite possibly broken. The toe that is next to my baby toe on my left foot is all nasty black and blue right now. Talented one that I am, I managed to smack it square into the door jamb of the bathroom as I was walking out this afternoon.

It hurts like hell.
