Christmas is right around the corner now that Halloween is over. There are only 52 shopping days left until Christmas. This stresses me out, believe it or not. I know I still have almost two whole months, but with the way things have been going, 52 days really isn't all that long. This year my sisters, parents, and I have all decided we're drawing names for gift giving, and we're giving for couples instead of individuals. This way we can focus on the kids. I really need to get started on this. Of course, my sisters don't want to pick names until they're all in the same room together, which is fine for them but stinks for me. I don't mind so much that I won't be there to pick the names, but more that I have to wait until Thanksgiving to get my shopping done. It's going to drive me insane! Thankfully, only one gift has to wait this year, unless I can't get B to tell me what he wants early enough again.
The promo codes at Coupon Chief are going to be a big help to me this year. I'll be hitting their site to look for The Children's Place sales, eToys discounts, and Amazon coupon codes. I've used them several times before and it's unlikely I'll stop anytime soon since they have such an extensive listing of sales and discounts. I just hope I'll have enough time to get gifts ordered and delivered (it's so much easier than dragging Sophie around) in time if I have to wait until Thanksgiving to start.
Perhaps this has something to do with my stress level lately.

I don't know anyone who doesn't love saving money. Well, I take that back. I know one person who just doesn't make the effort to save money, but he's a bit strange in the head. NCNatural has a great selection of Free Coupons online to help the rest of us who DO like to save money.
I love that they have a pretty big selection of coupons and sales information. I know I won't normally shop at some of the places they have listed without sales or coupons (like coupons for Cabela's). It's also nice to see some of the sites I shop frequently (they have coupons for Amazon!).
I need to start making the Christmas lists and see what shopping I can do online. I'll probably be checking coupons here before I do anything else.

Coupon Chief is one of the coolest places for online coupons. I actually just used this the other night while shopping online at The Children's Place for new clothes for Sophie (they're having a sale right now, too!).
B and I are in the process of organizing our house, and I've made a few trips out to The Container Store, but I might start doing my shopping there online since I hate packing up Sophie and carting her all the way out there and buying something big like a bulletin board that doesn't fit in the car very easily (yeah, that happened). I'm sure we still have a few things I will be needing from The Container Store, such as another sliding basket for under the bathroom sink. We'll have to see how it looks once the last one is installed, though.
With Christmas coming up soon (I know it's only September, but I have to start thinking about gifts now!), this is the perfect place to start looking for ideas and deals. Every little bit helps when it comes to saving money. :)
