I don't think I have much to say...

Sophie has been going to bed without crying lately! YAY! I don't have to sit in there and rub her back or her belly or sing her songs and wait until she's asleep. What a big girl!

I'm sick as a dog. It sucks. Really. I have some 12 hour Afrin and 8 hour Halls that kick back, though. I think I'm going to lose my voice on this one. Fun!

I have pictures and videos to post, as always. I'll get to them soon, I hope.

Yeah... I was right. Not much to say. I'm fuzzy headed tonight. I think it's time for sleep. The Kritter wakes up far too early these days.

Well done Sophie for being a good girl and going to sleep smoothly.

I'm glad we are on different sides of the Atlantic, so you can keep your germs over there. I don't want them. *chuckle* Hope you are feeling better soon.

LOL Thanks, you're so kind. ;)

Thanks! And indeed!! Now, if she'd just sleep a little longer in the morning, things would be perfect! ;)

oh, I hate that I've almost got to make my kids cry just to get them to sleep some nights.

I am feeling much better. I'm pretty much over the being sick part. I've picked up some allergies within the last three days. If I wouldn't pee all over myself each time I sneezed I'd be able to deal with it :p I've got an appointment today with the midwife, I'm going to see if she can give me some nasonex. It always does the trick.

I hope you get to feeling better soon!

I feel for you. I can't stand it when Sophie does that. It drives me nuts! Thankfully, we have figured out that letting her know what's going to happen when she wakes up actually works for her. I love that.

That doesn't seem to make a difference with the boys. I really do think that boys and girls are very different, even without the gender roles. My boys are really impatient and don't sit very well where I see girls tend to be a little more personable and understanding -- more ready to listen and conversate.

boys vs girls / girls vs boys I find it really intresting.

Yeah, and to be honest, at least for the right now years... I'm so glad to have a girl.

Of course, I'm sure I won't be saying that once she hits puberty...

Both my friends have three daughters (teen and preteen) and when I tell them things that I catch the boys doing they just die and say they're glad they have girls.

The only thing I could live happier without is my boys pulling their pants down where ever they are to pee. They've done it outside of the olive garden, cracker barrell, walmart...you name it. If they have to go they just go. And the stripping down in the yard. My kids are nudists. There they are playing out side, next thing you know they're butt naked waving to the cars as they pass by.

My kids didn't start sleeping through the night till age 4. It was a long 4 years!

Thanks!

Sometimes she sleeps until 7 or 8am... sometimes she's up at 4:00 am. I can usually get a second nap out of her then, but still... I'd rather sleep.,.. especially when I'm sick. ;)

This morning it was 5:00. Ugh.

BAAAAHHHHHH!!!!! Not what I wanted to hear. I go to bed every night in hopes that my 3 yr old will sleep through the night. Don't tell me I've got a whole year to wait on him while I've got a baby too!

NOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!

Someone forgot to tell me this part before I signed up to be a parent!

LOL!

I think other parents leave out the evil details so they can watch their friends and family suffer when they experience it themselves. ;)

Seriously!

She woke up several times kinda whiny and around 2:00 am she woke up calling for Daddy. B said she was talking about Steve (Blue's Clues) and French toast and grapes.

Guess what we've done so far this morning...

Yeah, breakfast was French toast and grapes, and we're currently watching Blue's Clues. I didn't learn about the conversation until after all of this had taken place. Crazy kid.
