Thanks. It's actually a serious pain in the ass. I love the size of it and the fact it's a jet tub, but it's tucked in a corner behind the bathroom counter and it's extremely inconvenient to use at times. I hate putting Sophie in it because it's so big.

That's the bathtub in the master bath. The one in the main bath is much smaller, but we have one of those crescent shaped shower curtain rods that makes it feel bigger. We use the front bathroom all the time because our shower sucks hardcore. There's nearly no water pressure back there. It also takes forever for the tub to fill so there's another reason we rarely use it.

I really want to rip out the master bath and start over.

Thanks on the room as well. It's not finished, sadly. Close, but not quite. She seems to be doing okay. Today was our best day so far. She likes that she can turn her light on and off by herself. Remind me, and I'll post pictures of it... although I'd like to wait until it's finished.

I don't believe it at all. I've at least seen pictures of your face, and based on that alone (unless you've had plastic surgery or something), you look THIN!

Obesity... ugh. I've been fighting this for a LONG time, but traveling for work and then having Sophie have put me way over the edge. I would be excited to get back to the weight I was in high school, but that's damn near 100 pounds away now!

Gah. That really makes me want to cry. I'm a lot more distraught about my weight than my age, but I'm afraid if I lose weight I'll look old! It's a total catch-22. The surgeon who removed my gallbladder scared me to death when he started talking about my fatty liver. It's not like we eat bad foods (we do, but only on rare occasions)... I am just so lazy (always so tired). I'm tempted to find another GP who will listen when I ask him to check for hypothyroidism. I don't want to do the surgery at all, but something needs to happen. I've tried every damn diet in the book AND have worked out and the weight never goes anywhere but up (except when I was on Atkins... I might do that again. we'll see).

I definitely would rather look old than be fat.

They tested for thyroid before Sophie but found nothing. I read somewhere that not all places do all the tests necessary and I don't know if that was the problem or not.

I've heard there's a one shot deal with Atkins, but I'm not sure how true that is. I'd like to say we eat fewer carbs because of Atkins, but that's just not true. There was a time when it was, but not any more.

I know I need to get something figured out. That's for sure!

I love the bathroom, but seriously, it's a ridiculous pain in the ass. We have to let the water run forever just for it to get warm and then we have to let it run forever and a day to let it get high enough to cover the jets. It seriously takes at least half an hour to get the bath ready. There are lots of things I'd love to do to change it. However... I do like that my sorry fat ass can fit into it. ;)

LOL Thanks! I try, but she's usually pulling out the barrettes and pigtails... It's so frustrating! I have to snap pictures right after her hair has been done.

Of course, after pigtails, she always has some sort of whacked out Princess Leia thing going on... ;)
