I don't know what to say about this. Seriously, I am speechless.

I don't want to come off as holier than thou but I just don't understand these parents who leave their children in hot cars while they do errands. I get that it is a major PITA sometimes to do errands with a kid in tow--but come on. Get a babysitter. Do you really believe she just forgot? It says she was given a warning before.

I think that's why I have such a problem with this one. If she's already been warned, she should be more aware of what she's doing with her children.

I have to admit, the thought to leave Sophie in the car has run briefly through my head once or twice, especially when it's just a quick in and out, but I can't bring myself to do it. It scares me to death what could happen!! It's because of this that makes me have a very difficult time buying the story of any parent who claims to have forgotten their child in the car. That sounds like a load of bunk to me.

Then again, what do I know?

Yeah. It's hard for me to buy the forgetting about the kid thing, too. Mine is too loud. As soon as the car stops he's telling me he's ready to get out.

Does it at least take you to the Fox News site? I had to install QuickTime to get the video to work. It just sat there with an orange box staring at me, no mention of a plugin or anything. I use Fx, so it should work unless you're missing the plugin.

Then again, B said he couldn't get it to work at first either.

Here is the full link:

I get to the site, the orange box is there, but there is no text anywhere on the page, not to even tell me which plug in I need. I don't know if I have it or not. I went and downloaded and installed QT but still it isnt working.

But I saw from the comments, some retard must have forgotten their child in a hot car? Sometimes I wish that we pusished crimes differently~ do to them what they did to others.

What's awful about this particular case is that she had been warned previously about leaving her child in the car. :(

OK I had to turn that off as soon as I heard the prosecutor say she "forgot" her child was in the car. Seriously? Does even he really believe that story? I have no idea how you can forget your child is in a car unless your drunk or on drugs. Wasn't she talking to her child? Checking on them in the rearview mirror? and to think she's going to get away with that really really really tees me off.

Yeah, I want to smack that guy. Towards the end it sounded like he was about to excuse all parents for leaving their kids in the car for a quick run in/out, but he quickly added that it was a bad idea.

Things like this just get me. I worry about causing harm to my child all the time and when I hear other people do this accidentally, I just have a hard time buying it. :(

I couldn't get the video to load either. Are you guys talking about the douche who "forgot" her kid was in the car when she went into work?
