Ah... one of the many joys of parenthood

Sophie has the chicken pox.

At least she's been immunized (one shot, can't remember if it's a two shot deal or not) so it's a mild case, but B has never had chicken pox nor has he ever been immunized. I've had the chicken pox twice (both mild cases) and can get it again (and most likely will, I'm sure), but it should be a bad case if I do.

Ugh. Looks like I'll be canceling Dream Dinners again this Saturday.

Thankfully, she doesn't seem to be affected by it.

The difference between genius and stupidity is that genius has its limits.

The best kind of friend is the kind you can sit on a porch and swing with, never say a word, and then walk away feeling like it was the best conversation you've ever had.

"A common mistake people make when trying to design something completely foolproof is to underestimate the ingenuity of complete fools." ~ Douglas Adams

Everyone hears what you say. Friends listen to what you say. Best friends listen to what you don't say.
