Amazingly, I got most of my guesses right. There were a few questions where I recognized the story/image but didn't know the answer, and even fewer where I knew the answer spot on. Heh, the main reason I knew most of this stuff is because B passes it along.

And now, a poll:

Would you be interested in participating in some sort of match up in my LJ, where friends possibly make other friends?

Yes

No
2 (8.0%)

Maybe
5 (20.0%)

Huh?
3 (12.0%)

If I were to do some sort of match up, how would be the best way to go about it? Should I use polls, spotlight those interested, invite people to post comment 'ads', or something else entirely?

This goes back to the request I made for creative assistance. Thanks to all who offered suggestions. If your suggestion isn't listed in the poll and you really liked it, let me know. It's possible I just missed it.

Any other logo suggestions?

I am sure I didn't make myself very clear. The original post was put up sometime late last night. This second posting was done in a bit of a rush while getting breakfast together for the Kritter. In any case, this is an opportunity for people on my f-list (or people who read this journal) to make new friends. It's sort of like being in an Add Me community, except for the fact that there are already people here with at least one common interest - Me! :p I know many of my friends seem to overlap. Some overlaps are because of location, some because of various interests like music or crafts, some because of the Add Me communities, and even still more simply because of mutual friends.

Based on what I've seen from the suggestion box so far, for those of you who answer Yes, what I will do is make a list in a separate entry stating your name and possibly a line or two about why we're friends and asking you to write your own Self-Selling Ad in comments. For the rest of you (Nos, if you change your mind, this includes you), feel free to let me know if you'd like to be included. There will be a second entry for you. Otherwise, anyone can browse through the Comment-Ads.

Perhaps this will pull in people who read my journal yet refuse to get their own LJ account! ;)
