... how I do love Stephen Colbert. Thank heavens for new episodes. The WØRD on Tuesday was excellent! Unfortunately, there isn't a clip of it up on Comedy Central's website.
After Monday night's reruns (as well as last week's reruns), I wasn't expecting anything new tonight. I'm glad I actually tuned in. It was very much worth it.

I'm not sure if backdating my entries will prevent them from showing up on the f-list, so I figured I'd issue a bit of a warning. I've decided to keep an archive of my crafts blog here, mostly because I don't know how long I'm going to stay at ChaCha blogging for them and I don't want to just lose all of my writing. Some of the blogs they have up there are pretty craptastic (probably why they let me in) and I'm not sure I really want to be associated with that. They also have no tags for knitting or sewing even though those are fairly popular craft outlets.
Anyhow, I have just posted one entry and have 21 entries left. I am not trying to swamp your f-list, really. If that happens, just scroll on by and pretend it didn't happen since it won't happen again after this (not in a flooding manner, that is).
Thanks all. I knew you'd understand. ;)

Apparently Tri-County Electric isn't the only company who likes to send people out without calling ahead (although to their credit, no one actually rang my doorbell).
Today, Atmos Energy decided to send a guy out to check our meter. I shouldn't have answered the door, I know. I also should have used the peephole, but I swear, it's too high for me and B hasn't put one in lower even though he says he's going to. Anyhow, I answered the door and he announces to me the meter isn't working and that he needs to come in the house. I don't think so, bucky. So, he said he would need us to have the furnace off and he would need access to the water heater. That I can handle, even though I'm still annoyed. I called the company to complain because that's just stupidity on their part to send someone without announcing. I mean, seriously... what if he was some schmoe off the street faking it just to get in the house? How the heck would I know the difference?
Gah, that just really makes me hoppin' mad.
