I am sad that it is a week before Christmas and the only decorations I have up in the house are a couple of snowmen and some candles. We have no tree and no lights. We didn't even put up the garland this year. We just haven't had time. Christmas is my absolute favorite time of the year, but it's been so difficult to prepare this year due to the wedding. Honestly, I haven't really even been in the mood to decorate this year since the weather hasn't really been Christmas friendly. I have had no time to make Christmas cookies or candies and I still have to work on getting my Christmas cards in the mail. I think I'm most sad that our first Christmas as a married couple is going to be so lame because I have no energy or time to get things together. It doesn't help that I have to spend Christmas away from my family.

At least B has been wonderful about letting me listen to Christmas music. I can't wait until he opens his gifts Christmas morning. I am so in love.

The difference between genius and stupidity is that genius has its limits.

The best kind of friend is the kind you can sit on a porch and swing with, never say a word, and then walk away feeling like it was the best conversation you've ever had.

"A common mistake people make when trying to design something completely foolproof is to underestimate the ingenuity of complete fools." ~ Douglas Adams

Everyone hears what you say. Friends listen to what you say. Best friends listen to what you don't say.
